For those of you who are local to Moscow/Pullman (or even Lewiston, Spokane, and Cd’A) there will be a Tabikat Drag Show to celebrate Coming Out Day on October 11th. The show celebrates people of all sexualities, identities, and persuasions. The show will be at the Moscow Moose Lodge, doors opening at 9:00. Come and celebrate who you are, who you like, and who you support!

National Coming Out Day is October 11th. Both University of Idaho and Washington State University will be holding events celebrating coming out. Gay and straight alike are encouraged to celebrate diversity. Show up and come out.

PrIdaho has been held since 2001 when people from all around the region celebrated diversity in Pocatello, Idaho. This year there were stand-up comedians, singers, game shows, drag performances, and vendors from the region. (More …)

Lenore, Charlie, Erin, and Jake woke up at 6 am to set up FACE tables and prepare for KfN, an event in which we passed out material urging Palouse citizens to help support nonviolence and local shelters and organizations. FACE sold hand-knitted hats, scarves, belts, and iPod socks to raise money. See you at the next event!

After speaking with the Moscow Arts Commission, we’re pleased to announce that Knitting for Nonviolence is official and will go on as planned. The event, to unfold July 29, will raise money for Families and Communities Embrace and Alternatives to Violence on the Palouse by selling hand knitted hats, bags, scarves, and other knitted goods.
